RUN!

i am a person who works best when the environment is good. i shut down when things are chaotic.
my friend told me yesterday that what if my GB is no like me..i'll surely have a hard time being with him. And thinking about it right now makes me want to RUN hahaha
i know God is full of surprises and it feels like my GB would be the total opposite of me!

new found

What hurts the most
Was being so close
And havin' so much to say
And watchin' you walk away

And never knowin'
What could've been
And not seein' that lovin' you
Is what I was tryin' to do

i really wanna go somewhere new :D i love to travel! but i don't have a traveler's money :))

Midnight poem

I want to write a poem
That would describe a foam
Or a cat that roamed
on a city without a home

This doesn't make sense
Because I want you to not feel tense
For me to paste letters together
Would mean opening a book made of leather

The bird's nest is on the rooftop
I don"t know why mom called a cop
Maybe for me to stop
Writing the poem that looks like a flop

But I won't come to a halt
Even if I have to start growing malt
Or crash a wedding to catch a dove
For you to see my love

LOVE spells A-C-T-I-V-E

It's the love month and February 14 is fast approaching (what's with the day, anyway? what's the fussing all about? haha) and my devo is very timely :)

Luke 6:9-11 "Then Jesus said to them, "I ask you which is lawful on Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy it?" He looked around at them all, and then said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." He did so and his hand was completely restored. But they were furious and began to discuss with one another what they might do to Jesus."

Here's Jesus in synagogue on a Sabbath with all Pharisees' and teachers of the law's eyes pinned on him and here's a man with a shriveled hand. Everyone's waiting for Jesus' action for them to accuse him. During those days, Sabbath equals rest equals no work! Jesus asked them which is lawful on such day: do good or evil, save life or destroy it. He didn't ask: do good, or evil, or nothing. It's doing good or evil. When you don't do good, you do evil; there's no in-between. So when we do nothing when we see a need, we're doing evil. That's just it. There's only two teams, no third party in this life. Doing nothing doesn't amount to doing good or something close to it.

Luke 6:27-28 "But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you."
Luke 6: 31 "Do to others as you would have them do to you."

Love is spelled A-C-T-I-V-E. Jesus is telling those who hear him to love their enemies. It is not a suggestion; it is a command. There's no "if you can, love you enemies". When Jesus said those words, He knows we can. He's given us the love we need to extend even to our enemies; He's equipped us with His love that overflows. Loving is not doing nothing; it takes action. It is not passive.

It is being sensitive to the needs, attending to the needs, and giving more than what is asked. Love lets you be disturbed, lets your well-planned day be interrupted for someone, lets you give what you have, lets you forgive those who hurt you and do good to them in return. It is going the extra mile. Love does that. Love fuels a person to keep going, to keep serving, to keep loving even when it seems impossible. And love doesn't count what it does as burden or obligation; it does willingly and joyfully; it satisfies, fulfills a person.

I tell you, loving is not in any way easy. It is as impossible and hard as a caterpillar climbing the Mt. Everest. Where do we get such unlimited love to share to others? It is through Jesus. He loved us first, now we can love others.Jesus is the source of love for He is love himself. He showed us the greatest form of love when He laid down His life for us.

Love should be there every moment, not just on Valentines’, on special occasions, or on the hospital bed. Love must be as active as we breathe, as our heart pumps, as our blood flows. Love must be alive because our God lives.

And i think it makes sense now to me why we call this “<3” a heart and writes i <3 you which equals i love you.. Because as your heart pumps unceasingly throughout your life, your love should also be as active as that.

my heart sings, "la, la, la~"

it's a heart thing.
the wait.
the preparation.
His love.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails
